Chinese Orthopedic Massage

Known in Chinese medicine as, tui na (tway-na), Chinese orthopedic massage uses the same theoretical approach to healing the body as acupuncture using hand techniques instead of inserting needles. This type of massage is unique in that it includes very deep tissue techniques as well as gentle myofascial release, depending on the needs of each patient. It is very effective in treating physical pain, joint rehabilitation, certain types of neuropathies, and recovery from an injury or surgery.

Orthopedic massage is complemented beautifully by acupuncture and craniosacral therapy. Clients leave the table feeling deep relief and restoration in their body and spirit.

$225 for 105 minutes of orthopedic massage with acupuncture and craniosacral therapy

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of a few very thin single-use medical-grade needles. They are placed on specific points along the body to release tension and stimulate circulation. They do so by stimulating large nerve branches and small nerve branches, called nociceptors, to regulate the central and peripheral nervous system.

In a Chinese medicine context, acupuncture restores the flow of Qi within the multiple circulatory systems emanating from the internal organs of the body. People suffering from intense psycho-emotional dysregulation or physical injury often experience immediate benefit from acupuncture. For those dealing with chronic pain, it can take 2-4 treatments to experience desired results.

I am able to combine acupuncture with craniosacral therapy, which results in profound relaxation and a complete reset for the nervous system.

$179 for 80 minutes of acupuncture with craniosacral therapy

$109 for 50 minutes of acupuncture only
